At INK Design we believe that the ‘inspiration phase’ is one of the most important parts of the design process. In any branding project, collecting images and assets is essential to build new ideas.
A LUXURY HOTEL BRANDING CASE STUDY
Lovia Mykonos
To draw inspiration for the design process, but also to better understand the unique character of Lovia Mykonos, we visited the hotel in its natural setting.
This way, we got to experience everything that its superb location has to offer: we felt the Mykonian breeze gently caress our faces, we walked on the rocks, we witnessed the glorious sunset and let the sublime colors of the sky speak to our souls.
For the name of the hotel, we tried to come up with a catchy and meaningful word that would reflect the owners’ love for Mykonos and its natural landscape, as well as their love for outstanding hospitality — and thus came Lovia!
NAMING / INDIVIDUAL LOGOS
– MAIN RESTAURANT –
In the stylish atmosphere of Sunset Rock restaurant, guests can enjoy an array of authentic and delicious Mediterranean dishes, cooked with passion and served with love.
– SECONDARY RESTAURANT –
Named after the wild flower of the same name, which grows on the rocky terrains of Mykonos, the hotel’s second restaurant promises an unforgettable dining experience.
– SPA –
Rockrose spa is the perfect place for guests to unwind with a wide range of purifying and rejuvenating treatments and therapies, designed for comfort and wellbeing.
At first, we visited the plot where the hotel would be built. It was between rocks overlooking the country and the sunset. Our initial thought was that the name of the hotel should be: SUNSET ROCK
